Please Allow Me to Introduce…

As November and the season of giving thanks is upon us, I thought it was only appropriate to introduce you to the Boxwood people who make the shop warm and welcoming for every visitor. Joanna and I are grateful for them every day.

Cindy Kolbe, Operations ManagerCindy practically runs Boxwood's floor and is the lady to make sure that special orders are right and ready on time. She spent most of her career as a talent recruiter for a major law firm, so hopefully, Boxwood is a tiny bit less stressful. Cindy is so smart, charismatic, and an amazing friend to all who know her - we are lucky to have her on our team.Favorite Boxwood Line: Telki Milano floormats  Gayle Palmer, Community Events ManagerWe try to do as much as we can for local nonprofits, so we're lucky to have Gayle spearheading special events and fundraising efforts. With decades of experience in interior design and retail, Gayle has excellent taste. But more importantly, she is one of the funniest ladies we know. If you have the opportunity to meet her in the shop, you will surely agree.Favorite items: USB-chargeable, outdoor-friendly lamps Nancy Soyka, Sales AssociateNancy recently joined Boxwood in October from the sadly shuttered Sur La Table on King Street (their loss, our gain). She is already proving to be a reliable, confident, and outstanding member of our team. Please drop by to say hello!Favorite items: Jill Rosenwald and Lawrence McRae hand-painted pottery Joshua RushLast but certainly not least, if you stop by on Wednesday mornings, you'll meet Joshua. He also works at the Principle Gallery with owner Michele Ward, and he was always saying hello on his way to and from Safeway, so we thought, why not give him something to do? He is an excellent artist and always quick with a joke, even on your worst Wednesday.Favorite items: A soda from Safeway
