Easter Colors

As I wrote earlier this week, I am a fan of neutrals. This isn’t news to loyal customers; it has been pointed out to me many times by customers. Literally people have asked me -- sternly, sometimes -- if there is a reason we don’t sell anything with color.Sometimes I feel a little bit like the independently owned version of White House/Black Market. I have decided part of this is because of being primarily a shoe buyer for so long. A dozen or so years ago, I would often see a great shoe and decide to get it in a fun color only to see it sit on the shelves while customers asked if it came in black. So I think I was trained to be afraid to get too much color. This spring, however, I have turned over a new leaf and a colorful one at that! At least to me, it looks like an Easter basket in our store lately. We have beautiful shades of purple, yellow, blue, and pink. I admit, it does make the store seem a lot more cheerful! So if you are looking to brighten up your wardrobe or maybe want a fun new spring dress, believe it or not, we have it!
