My Top Picks From The Hive’s Sale (While They Last!)
I’m always a little hesitant to share my favorite items for Stylebook articles—by the time it runs, there’s a chance some of the pieces will be gone. And honestly? I hope they are! I know we sometimes hear complaints that there’s not much left by sale time, but that’s how it has to be if we want to stay in business. While many of my top picks are down to single items, we do have plenty left—especially when it comes to shoes. For example, we have stacks and stacks of AGL styles still in stock.
That said, I still wanted to share a few of my current sale favorites to highlight the range of brands and styles marked down. I literally own all of these pieces and keep scratching my head as to why they’re still here.
Of course, my top pick is Tibi—this amazing sweater also comes in white, as well as a short-sleeve, more fitted version. The Ayla from Citizens is one of my favorite denim fits, and we also have it in other washes you can wear year-round. The Anine Bing jacket is perfect for chilly mornings or overly aggressive air conditioning.
Then there’s the Bernadette by AGL. I love this shoe—we even ordered it in three colors. It’s the ideal summer wedding shoe, and yes, you can actually stand in it for hours. Lucky for you, we still have plenty in all three shades.
Another standout? A striped sweater that taps into this season’s fisherman-core trend. Then there’s the small Jerome Dreyfuss wallet—I'll admit, I questioned the practicality when I bought it, but now I can’t imagine going back to a full-sized one. It fits perfectly in my smaller crossbody bags and helps me stay edited.
Number seven is from one of our newer brands, COG The Big Smoke. Everything is “one size fits most”—and it really does. It’s another great now-and-later option.
Next up is another AGL shoe we have in multiple sizes and colors. I bought both! I’m usually not a mule person (they tend to slide off my narrow feet), but these stay put because of their higher cut.
The Ulla Johnson Twyla vest is truly a head-scratcher—we don’t understand why it's still here, because we’re all obsessed. I ordered one for myself the minute it arrived, and also grabbed one each for Madeline and Annette.
And finally, the Lorna Murray beach tote. This is from a line we just brought in (the hats sold out immediately). If you’re looking for the perfect pool or beach bag, this is it.
