Think Rolyn: The Perfect Holiday Gift

I will never forget the day I walked into a multi-brand showroom we used to visit, and our amazing rep, Janet could not contain her excitement. I stepped off the elevator and she pulled me into a section of the showroom and said, “Elizabeth, I have been saving this line for you. It is blowing up on Shopbop.”

Janet knows me pretty well, so that was all she had to say to get me to write an order. The area was full of puffer jackets, hats and bags that were all made of a weather-resistant material. There were interesting shapes and bright colors everywhere. Even if she hadn’t mentioned the Shopbop connection, I still would have written it. The designs were all smart and thoughtful and it wasn’t like anything else out there at the time. I have always had a bit of a sporty aesthetic and all the pieces made sense to me.

Think Rolyn has been in our store since the beginning. The line actually launched in 2017, which is when we opened The Hive. One of the first items were their awesome coats that I wish they still made. Since they started, they have focused on bags. They really know how to make a bag. Their crossbody bags and sling bags are a favorite – especially for travel. They are the perfect size, they are weather resistant and the zippers and pockets are in all the right places. They also make great travel bags. I use the wingman all the time when I go to NYC for work or away for a weekend. You can throw so much stuff in it and after owning it for five years, it looks like new!

A few years back Janet moved over to just work for Think Rolyn and it has continued to grow. Life is so much easier when you work with great people and Janet is one of the really, really good ones.
